Gruffalo Granny released by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler

Macmillan Children's Books has released Gruffalo Granny, the third installment in the Gruffalo series by Dame Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Arriving more than 20 years after the original 1999 release, the new story follows the Gruffalo and his daughter as they prepare a meal for Granny, leading them on a journey through the deep dark wood.

The book features encounters with characters such as the fox, owl, and snake, while also incorporating elements from Donaldson's other works, including Room On The Broom, Monkey Puzzle, and The Snail And The Whale. The release maintains the signature rhythmic prose and illustrations characteristic of the series.
