Grugliasco to host FIP Gold Mediolanum Padel Cup in 2026

The Palavillage in Grugliasco will host the FIP Gold Mediolanum Padel Cup from October 26 to November 1, 2026. This event marks a significant upgrade for the region, moving from the FIP Silver category held last year to one of only twelve Gold-level tournaments on the global CUPRA FIP Tour calendar.

The competition features a prize pool of 50,000 euros and offers 150 points toward the International Padel Federation (FIP) world rankings. More than 250 athletes, including top-ranked international players and NextGen talents, are expected to participate. The tournament schedule includes qualifications on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the main draws, semifinals, and finals taking place from Thursday through Sunday.

Padel is seeing significant growth in the Piemonte region, which currently boasts 162 clubs, approximately 13,700 members, 70 schools, and 500 courts. Local officials noted that the tournament serves as a strategic tool for regional development and sports excellence.
