Grupo 3corações acquires General Mills' Brazilian operations for R$ 800 million

Grupo 3corações has finalized the acquisition of General Mills' Brazilian operations for R$ 800 million. The deal includes the well-known food brands Yoki and Kitano, marking a major expansion for the coffee-focused group into broader food categories such as seasonings, spices, popcorn, and snacks.

As part of the transaction, 3corações assumes control of an administrative office in São Bernardo do Campo (SP) and two production units located in Pouso Alegre (MG) and Campo Novo do Parecis (MT). This acquisition brings the group's total to 15 manufacturing units in Brazil and expands its workforce to approximately 12,700 employees.

General Mills stated that the sale is part of a global portfolio reorganization aimed at improving margins and redirecting resources toward strategic areas, including premium ice cream, Mexican food, snacks, and pet food. The Brazilian operations had generated approximately US$ 350 million in net sales for General Mills during the 2025 fiscal year.
