Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico reports 3.9% traffic increase
Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP) reported a 3.9% increase in total passenger traffic across its 12 Mexican airports during July 2026 compared to July 2025. Major growth was noted in Guadalajara, which saw a 13.2% increase, and Tijuana, which grew by 7.2%. Conversely, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos experienced declines of 12.1% and 6.9%, respectively.
At Guanajuato Airport, passenger traffic rose by 0.7% in July, reaching 314,800 users. This growth was driven by a 4.3% increase in domestic passengers, which accounted for 67.6% of the terminal's total traffic. However, international traffic at Guanajuato fell by 6.1% during the same period.
In Jamaica, GAP reported a 2.9% increase in passengers at Kingston, while Montego Bay saw a significant decrease of 26.6%. Overall, the group noted that available seats increased by 0.7% and load factors rose slightly from 84.8% to 85.2% year-over-year.
