Grupo Agroponiente reaches €515 million in annual revenue

Spanish food company Grupo Agroponiente reported a significant revenue milestone for the 2025/2026 season, reaching €515 million. This represents a growth of more than 33% compared to the previous season's €386 million, positioning the Almería-based group among Europe's largest private food companies.

International operations were a primary driver of this expansion. The company's subsidiaries in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands collectively generated over €100 million in revenue, allowing the group to deliver Spanish products directly to major European consumers and buyers.

CEO Imanol Almudí attributed the growth to a business model centered on proximity, trust, and quality work. Additionally, the 2025/2026 season marked the company's first implementation of artificial intelligence to optimize operations, with plans to provide growers access to this technology to increase crop profitability.
