Grupo Almar industrial plant destroyed by fire in Don Torcuato

A major fire destroyed the Grupo Almar industrial plant in Don Torcuato, Argentina. The blaze, which occurred during the night, resulted in total destruction of the company's facilities.

A massive emergency operation was deployed to contain the flames, involving 67 firefighters and 27 units from nine different localities, including Escobar, Maschwitz, Pilar, Tortuguitas, General Pacheco, Hurlingham, San Fernando, Tigre, and Benavídez. Local authorities, including Tigre's Civil Defense, the Tigre Emergency System (SET), and the Tigre Operations Center (COT), provided support. The COT utilized monitoring drones to track the fire's evolution.

While the industrial plant suffered total material damage, no injuries were reported among the evacuees, who received medical assistance on-site but did not require hospital transfer.
