Grupo Anônimos de Teatro premieres Kafka adaptation in Vitória

The Grupo Anônimos de Teatro is premiering a monologue adaptation of Franz Kafka’s classic work, ‘The Metamorphosis’, in Vitória, Espírito Santo. Starring actor Luiz Carlos Cardoso as Gregor Samsa, the production explores themes of fear, loneliness, indifference, and dehumanization through the lens of the protagonist's transformation into an insect.

Starting August 21 at the Espaço Cultural Má Companhia, the production offers six free performances. The schedule includes dedicated sessions for public school students on August 21 and 28, with general public performances held on Saturdays and Sundays. All shows will include Libras interpreters to ensure accessibility. The production aims to use Kafka’s metaphors to reflect on contemporary existential struggles and the human condition.
