Grupo Cartão de TODOS plans transition to 40-hour work week

Grupo Cartão de TODOS is forming a commission to study the early implementation of a full 40-hour weekly work schedule, targeting January 2027. The initiative aims to improve employee well-being by increasing time for family, leisure, and personal life.

The group, which employs 30,000 workers and serves approximately 7.5 million families, intends to evaluate the operational, economic, and organizational impacts of this reorganization. President Altair Vilar stated that the move aligns with the company’s principle of ‘Solidary Administration,’ asserting that rested and motivated employees contribute to more sustainable results.
