Grupo Chamamento bus destroyed by fire on BR-376

The bus used by the musical group Grupo Chamamento was completely destroyed by a fire on the BR-376 highway in Balsa Nova, Paraná, on Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 7:00 AM near the São Luiz do Purunã district while the group was traveling from São José dos Pinhais toward Castro.

Preliminary information suggests the fire was caused by a ruptured hose in the vehicle's system. The driver noticed the flames in the rearview mirror while the musicians were sleeping, allowing them to evacuate the vehicle safely before the fire spread uncontrollably. No injuries were reported, though the group suffered significant material losses, including the vehicle itself, technical equipment, clothing, and costumes.

Federal Highway Police (PRF) and Fire Department crews attended the scene. The fire caused temporary closures on the highway during the emergency response. Friends of the group, including astrologer Val Couto, have expressed relief that no one was harmed despite the total loss of the band's professional tools and belongings.
