Grupo Cortizo and Luis de Valdivia win annual business awards

Grupo Cortizo and Luis de Valdivia have been named Company of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year, respectively, at the third edition of the Banco Sabadell Company of the Year Awards. The ceremony took place at the NH Collection Finisterre hotel in A Coruña.

Raquel Cortizo, General Director of Grupo Cortizo, accepted the award, noting that while the company has expanded internationally and employs over 4,000 people, it maintains its Galician roots. Luis de Valdivia, founder and president of Ecoener, received the Entrepreneur of the Year award. During his speech, de Valdivia called for improved conditions to support the growth of Spanish companies.

The awards were organized by Banco Sabadell and Prensa Ibérica Galicia, with support from the Xunta, Xacobeo 2027, and the Port of Vigo.
