Grupo Cotemar receives highest PRIME corporate governance certification
Grupo Cotemar has achieved the PRIME Level V Stars Certification, the highest distinction within the PRIME program. This recognition is awarded for the comprehensive implementation of 50 corporate governance practices.
By reaching this level, Cotemar joins a select group of Mexican companies recognized for high standards of institutionalization and governance. The certification process is overseen by the PRIME Certification Committee, which includes the Asociación Mexicana de Instituciones Bursátiles (AMIB), Bancomext, BIVA, the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV), and Nacional Financiera (Nafin).
The PRIME program, established in 2017, aims to strengthen the financial structure and competitiveness of Mexican enterprises, facilitating access to stock market financing and development banking. The Level V Stars designation specifically validates Cotemar’s institutionalized decision-making bodies, effective risk management and supervision mechanisms, transparency culture, and alignment with Mexican stock market standards.
