Grupo DelSud owners surrender amid illegal land sale investigation

Francisco Alberto Vila Basualdo and Eugenia Martínez, owners of Grupo DelSud, have surrendered to the justice system in La Plata following arrest warrants issued by Judge Marcela Garmendia. The investigation, led by prosecutor Juan Menucci, concerns alleged real estate fraud involving illegal land subdivisions.

The suspects are accused of participating in operations for developments such as ‘Bella Vista’, ‘El Paraíso’, and ‘Los Pinares’ that were reportedly marketed without the necessary legal requirements for subdivision, urbanization, or deed transfer.

Milena del Sol Dell’Aqua is already in custody, while Nadia Antonella Lima remains at large. The investigation seeks to determine if buyers were induced to purchase land or property percentages that could not legally be subdivided or deeded.
