Grupo Financiero Atlántida launches BancAtlantic Capital in Caribbean tour

Inversiones Atlántida S. A., the parent company of Grupo Financiero Atlántida, has announced a series of high-level private events titled ‘Caribbean Currents’ to introduce BancAtlantic Capital. Based in New York, BancAtlantic Capital is a newly launched commercial and investment bank.

The tour will feature Guillermo Bueso Anduray, President and CEO of Inversiones Atlántida, and John Tonelli, President and CEO of BancAtlantic Capital. The events are scheduled to take place in Suriname on October 5, Guyana on October 6, Trinidad and Tobago on October 7, and Jamaica on October 8.

BancAtlantic Capital aims to expand the Group's Caribbean presence by providing financing to emerging economies that have historically been underserved by global investment banks. Led by John Tonelli, a veteran Wall Street investment banker, the firm intends to structure complex financing and provide direct capital support to clients within the region.
