Grupo Fuertes reports 48% profit increase to 333.7 million euros

Grupo Fuertes, the family-owned holding company behind ElPozo, reported a 48% increase in profits for the 2025 fiscal year, reaching 333.7 million euros. The group's total revenue grew by 8.3% to 2,772.9 million euros, with approximately 82% of sales originating from the Spanish market.

Growth was primarily driven by the agrifood sector. ElPozo, the group's main engine, saw an 8.3% rise in sales across its fresh products, processed goods, and export divisions. Other contributing areas included frozen foods, dairy and cheeses, bottled water, and turkey production. Conversely, the fruit cultivation, food packaging, and wine production sectors saw declines as they undergo restructuring to improve profitability.

The real estate division experienced significant growth, with sales increasing by 64.4%. This was bolstered by new developments, including the reopening of the former Marina d’Or under the Magic World Resort brand through an alliance with Magic Costa Blanca. Additionally, leisure parks such as Terra Natura maintained sustained growth, and the pharmaceutical base products division also saw advancements.
