Grupo Herce Soria debuts in Superliga against Unicaja Almería

Grupo Herce Soria begins its Superliga campaign with a challenging away match against Unicaja Almería. The match, scheduled for 17:30 at the Moisés Ruiz pavilion, features two historic clubs in the Spanish men's top-tier volleyball league.

Under the direction of Alberto Toribio, Grupo Herce Soria enters the season with a significantly renewed squad, including eight new players such as Chilean setter André Seifert, opposites Julian Weisigk and Muhammad Yahya, and receivers Kayque Calazans and Cyril Kolb.

Unicaja Almería aims to reclaim its standing in Spanish volleyball, led by former Soria player Juan Pablo Moreno, who serves as the primary offensive reference. The regular season is set to run until March 20, 2027, with a scheduled break in February for the Copa del Rey.
