Grupo Interóleo acquires Cañada de Santa Rita olive oil mill

Grupo Interóleo has acquired the Córdoba-based olive oil mill Cañada de Santa Rita, located in Castro del Río. This move strengthens the group's presence in the Córdoba region and expands its capacity to supply organic extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) with full traceability.

Cañada de Santa Rita, established in 2016, is a medium-sized facility with the capacity to grind up to 400 tons of olives per day. It features three milling lines, including one dedicated exclusively to organic EVOO, and a stainless steel warehouse capable of storing over 2,000 tons of oil. The mill processes olives from its own members as well as producers from the Guadajoz-Campiña Este area and surrounding regions like Jaén.

Juan Gadeo, president of Interóleo, stated that the incorporation allows the group to meet increasing market demand for specialized organic products that offer differentiation and guarantees for both domestic and international clients.
