Grupo JBB regains control of Trece and Unicanal

Grupo JBB, led by Javier Bernardes, has announced it is resuming control of Unicanal S.A., the company that operates the Trece and Unicanal television signals. The group stated it has resolved the contract previously signed with Grupo Vázquez.

According to a statement released by Grupo JBB, the move aims to preserve business continuity, protect jobs, and fulfill commitments to clients and suppliers. The group assured that both channels will continue to operate normally without changes to commercial projects or labor obligations.

The transfer of ownership follows a brief period under Grupo Vázquez, which had acquired the channels earlier this year. While the specific reasons for the contract termination were not disclosed, the announcement comes amid ongoing developments regarding ueno bank, an entity within the same group.
