Grupo Joseda and Accor sign exclusive ibis brand agreement in Dominican Republic

Grupo Joseda and the international hotel group Accor have signed an exclusive development and franchise agreement for the ibis brand in the Dominican Republic. Signed at Accor’s headquarters in Paris, the deal grants Grupo Joseda exclusivity to develop all new ibis projects in the country for the next five years.

The program aims to develop 500 ibis rooms. The first project will be the 100-room ibis Punta Cana Airport, located near the Punta Cana International Airport. The agreement also includes the development of an ibis hotel within a project in Miches, a growing destination on the country’s eastern coast.

The signing took place during the Dominican Republic Signing Ceremony, part of Accor’s broader expansion in the region, which included eight agreements totaling 5,535 rooms for the Dominican Republic. The event coincided with Dominican Week in France.
