Grupo Loro Parque reaches 42,000 students via environmental education
Grupo Loro Parque has concluded the 2025/2026 school year having reached more than 42,000 students through its various environmental education programs. The initiative aims to strengthen the community's involvement in biodiversity conservation, animal welfare, and nature protection.
As part of this educational model, 9,411 students participated in 254 educational visits to Loro Parque and Poema del Mar. The program also extended beyond the parks' facilities, including 78 complementary activities such as beach cleanups and awareness actions involving 5,386 students.
Cybell Kiessling, Director of Administration for Grupo Loro Parque, stated that conservation begins with education and that helping young people understand environmental threats is a vital investment for the future. The program reported a 98% satisfaction rate among teaching staff.
