Grupo Medalhão de Ouro to host traditional ride in Bahia

The first I Montaria do Grupo Medalhão de Ouro will take place this Saturday, September 26, celebrating Northeastern traditions and cowboy culture in Bahia. Conceived by Mané da Azeitona, the event is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM with a gathering at Fazenda Azeitona.

The route will lead participants toward the Quilombo community in the municipality of Santanópolis before returning to the starting point for a musical program. The event features Vítor Vaqueiro as its ambassador and aims to strengthen regional identity and local artistry.

Following the ride, a series of musical performances will take place, including artists such as Júnior Andrade, Danilo Alves, Rosana Dias, Monalisa, and Braga Reis. The initiative, supported by group member Ana Paula Cunha, seeks to preserve rural traditions and provide a platform for local talent.
