Grupo UNACEM reports 10.6% revenue growth in Q2 2026

Grupo UNACEM reported positive financial results for the second quarter of 2026, with consolidated revenues reaching approximately USD 573.5 million, a 10.6% increase compared to the same period the previous year. Net profit for the quarter was approximately USD 52.1 million.

The growth was driven by higher sales volumes, improved capacity utilization, and operational efficiencies across its international operations in Peru, Ecuador, Chile, and the United States. In Ecuador, the group's performance was bolstered by a customer-centric strategy.

During this period, the group allocated approximately USD 105 million in capital expenditures (CAPEX), primarily focused on projects in Peru, including a new lime plant (CALCEM), a new primary crusher, and modifications to the Atocongo plant. CEO Pedro Lerner stated that the company is concluding the first stage of its strategic plan and defining priorities for the next phase to maximize value.
