Grupo Xcaret to add 600 rooms to Hotel Xcaret México

Grupo Xcaret has announced plans to expand the Hotel Xcaret México in the Riviera Maya by adding 600 new rooms. This expansion will bring the total number of accommodations at the resort to approximately 2,400.

According to Akis Neocleous, Director of Hotels at Xcaret, this move follows the addition of 900 rooms last year. The expansion aims to strengthen infrastructure and services for various visitor segments. Recent developments at the resort have included the addition of 10 new restaurants, a family spa, a dedicated zone for teenagers, and new pool areas with water slides.

The project also features Xiquit Inn, a mini-hotel concept designed for children to participate in simulated activities and games. Despite current challenges in the Mexican tourism sector, the group maintains a positive outlook on demand for its properties.
