Gruppo Gabrielli donates 7,000 food items in Abruzzo and Molise

Around 7,000 food products were collected by Oasi supermarkets in the Abruzzo and Molise regions as part of the 2026 edition of “Un dono per il Banco”. The initiative, organized by Gruppo Gabrielli together with the Fondazione Banco Alimentare ETS, turned the retailer network into a channel for direct support to families facing economic hardship in central Italy. Participating stores in Abruzzo included locations in Avezzano, Giulianova, L’Aquila and others, while Molise was represented by outlets in Campobasso and Termoli.

The donated items, valued at more than €45,000, comprised 6,144 bottles of extra‑virgin olive oil, 4,896 cans of tuna and 3,312 tomato puree packs. The food will be distributed by the Banco Alimentare’s partner organisations to vulnerable households across Umbria, Marche, Lazio, Abruzzo and Molise. Laura Gabrielli, president of Gruppo Gabrielli, highlighted the campaign as a concrete example of how everyday consumer choices can become structured aid for the community.
