Gruppo Saviola unveils tree installation at Ecomondo
Gruppo Saviola has presented “Rinascita Saviola Fortree” at the Ecomondo 2026 exhibition in Rimini. The project, designed by EcoSocial Artist Luca Gnizio, features a large-scale artistic installation in the shape of a tree, measuring approximately 6 meters in height and width.
The installation serves as a symbol of transformation and circular economy. It was created in collaboration with the Cooperativa Sociale di Bessimo – Comunità di San Giorgio, an organization in Mantova dedicated to supporting individuals recovering from addiction. The tree’s canopy consists of 140 frames crafted by 20 guests of the cooperative through a creative and educational process.
To build the work, creators recovered over 500 kilograms of post-consumer wood fragments, 720 recycled metal elements, and a jute network dyed with natural pigments from fern leaves. The project aims to highlight the dual concept of rebirth: the recycling of wood into a resource and the social reintegration of individuals through collective work.
