Gruppo tennis Salvi players secure junior tournament victories

The Gruppo tennis Salvi has achieved early success in the new season through the performances of young players Michele Catalano and Francesco Candolfo. Both athletes train at the Zeta Club under coaches Ferdinando De Luca and Davide Ghidoni as part of a sporting project involving the Salvi company.

Michele Catalano, born in 2014, secured a victory in the under 12 national stage in Conselice, Ravenna. After defeating several top seeds, including Nicola Tassinari and Lorenzo Verratti, Catalano won the final against Denny Bertini in a match lasting over three hours. This follows a previous second-place finish in San Giovanni in Persiceto.

Francesco Candolfo, also born in 2014, claimed victory in the under 12 category at the Circolo tennis di Bergantino in Rovigo. His path to the title included a semifinal win against Luis Bottoni and a final victory over Andrea Monald.
