Grzegorz Braun Calls for 'Radical Normalization' in Poland

Polish Member of the European Parliament Grzegorz Braun, leader of the Confederation of the Polish Crown, presented a programme he calls “radical normalization” of Poland’s internal and external relations. He argued that decisions affecting the country must be made in Warsaw, not in foreign centres, and warned that threats such as mass migration, EU climate policy, rising energy costs and the risk of bankruptcy can only be averted by restoring full national sovereignty.

Braun highlighted the impact of the war in the Middle East on fuel prices and criticised the EU‑mandated energy transition, saying it drives Polish households and businesses into financial hardship. He urged Poland to rely on its abundant coal reserves and to lower electricity, gas and fuel bills for families and enterprises. The programme stresses allowing people to live, work and trade freely within a sovereign Polish state.
