Grzegorz Braun faces legal scrutiny over Ombudsman complaint and party funding

Grzegorz Braun, leader of the Konfederacja Korony Polskiej party, is facing legal scrutiny following two separate notifications to the prosecutor's office.

First, Braun filed a notification against the Polish Ombudsman, Monika Horna-Cieślak. He alleges she abused her authority and acted to the detriment of private and public interests, potentially for personal gain. Braun claims the office has been used as a tool for institutional interference in family matters.

Second, the National Institute of Freedom (NIW-CRSO) has notified the prosecutor's office regarding the Osuchowa Foundation, which is linked to Braun. An audit revealed that the foundation allegedly used funds from the 1.5 percent tax donation scheme to finance the political activities and events of the Konfederacja Korony Polskiej party. Specific instances cited include the production and distribution of a film used during election campaigns and the financing of logistical support for the Millennium Congress of the Crown Kingdom of Poland.
