Grzegorz Krychowiak debuts as rapper at PGE Narodowy
Former Polish national football player Grzegorz Krychowiak has transitioned into a media career, making a musical debut as a rapper. Following his retirement from professional football in 2025, Krychowiak released an original track titled ‘Druga Połowa’, a collaboration featuring singer Anastazja Maciąg and written alongside Kuba Grabowski (known as Quebonafide) and Kornel ‘Koro’ Regel.
Krychowiak performed the song live at the PGE Narodowy during the ‘Roztańczony PGE Narodowy’ event. The performance marked a significant emotional return to the stadium where he previously bid farewell to the national team. While he noted that learning to rap was more difficult than anticipated, his performance received positive reactions from social media users.
Vocal coach Agnieszka Hekiert commented on the track, noting the potential in Krychowiak’s performance and praising his use of transaccentuation, though she suggested further work on rhythm and diction.
