Grzegorz Zengota to leave Unia Leszno speedway club

Speedway rider Grzegorz Zengota has announced his departure from Unia Leszno following the conclusion of the current season. Speaking on Canal+, Zengota expressed disappointment regarding the negotiation process with the club.

Zengota stated that while financial terms are often negotiable if both parties are willing, he received no communication or counteroffers from the club management. He noted that despite waiting for several weeks and seeing club representatives at training sessions, the topic was avoided, which led him to feel that the club was seeking alternative solutions without informing him.

Describing the decision as one of the hardest of his life, Zengota explained that he chose to leave to protect his own interests after the lack of feedback. He intends to return to his former club.
