GS Caltex Holds Family Day for Employees in Seoul

GS Caltex organized a "Family Day" on 31 May at its GS Tower in Gangnam, Seoul, inviting the families of its employees. The event, themed "Energy to the Future," let participants tour the workplace, receive honorary employee badges, and explore a range of interactive stations. Attendees experienced a virtual‑reality walk‑through of the company’s Yeosu refinery, played games that illustrated the oil‑to‑product value chain, and tried digital‑technology activities such as mixed‑reality safety training, AI board games, and mini‑robot soccer.

Vice‑president Heo Se‑hong addressed the families, thanking them for their support and expressing hope that the day would deepen their pride in GS Caltex’s work and inspire the next generation of energy leaders. The gathering is part of the firm’s broader ESG and family‑friendly culture program, which also includes other initiatives such as family‑oriented outings and flexible work‑life policies.
