GS Caltex hosts fourth Deep Transformation Day to showcase AI innovations

GS Caltex held its fourth Deep Transformation Day (DT Day) at the GS Tower in Seoul, focusing on digital transformation and artificial intelligence to enhance competitiveness and sustainable growth.

The event featured 15 exhibition booths showcasing various employee-led innovations. Key technological highlights included AI-powered training tutors utilizing the Socratic method, the application of physical AI through drones, robots, and smart helmets, and multi-agent AI systems for automating research report writing. The company also presented energy-saving initiatives at its Yeosu refinery and data-driven optimization projects for catalyst procurement.

GS Group Chairman Huh Tae-soo attended the event, emphasizing a shift in perspective toward designing business processes based on digital foundations from the outset. GS Caltex Vice Chairman and CEO Hur Sae-hong encouraged employees to connect individual innovations to drive company-wide growth and future transformation.
