GSK reports 4% revenue growth in third quarter 2026

GSK Plc reported total revenue of 8.9 billion pounds for the third quarter of 2026, representing a 4% increase at current exchange rates and 5% at constant exchange rates. Growth was primarily driven by the Specialty Medicines division, which reached 3.9 billion pounds, including a 10% increase in HIV sales and a 23% rise in oncology.

While Specialty Medicines grew, vaccine sales declined by 2% to 2.6 billion pounds, with decreases noted in Shingrix and Arexvy. The General Medicines division remained stable at 2.4 billion pounds.

Total operating profit decreased by 16% and earnings per share fell by 21%, largely due to 328 million pounds in restructuring charges related to the Accelerate Growth program. However, core operating profit rose by 5% to 3.1 billion pounds. The Accelerate Growth program is a three-year plan designed to simplify the organization and reallocate resources toward R&D, aiming to generate annual savings of 1.9 billion pounds by 2029.
