GSMA and ITU to co-host MWC Doha 2026 and Plenipotentiary Conference
GSMA and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) have announced that MWC Doha 2026 will be held concurrently with the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-26). This unprecedented collaboration will bring together government leaders, international organizations, and industry executives to discuss digital policy and connectivity.
MWC Doha is scheduled to take place from November 8 to 10, 2026, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) in partnership with Qatar’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). The ITU PP-26, the highest decision-making body of the UN digital technology agency, will be hosted by the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) at the same venue from November 9 to 27, 2026.
The joint event aligns with Qatar’s Digital Agenda 2030 and Qatar National Vision 2030. By hosting the exhibition adjacent to the conference, delegates will have direct access to demonstrations of advanced connectivity, AI-driven solutions, and digital infrastructure designed to accelerate economic growth.
