GSRTC sets record with 88,626 mobile ticket bookings in one day
The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has achieved a record-breaking milestone in digital service adoption. On August 26, 2026, the corporation recorded 88,626 advance mobile ticket bookings in a single day through its official application.
This figure surpasses previous single-day digital booking records held by the corporation, which include 85,247 bookings on November 4, 2024, and 85,205 bookings on October 25, 2025. The surge in mobile usage is attributed to the state government’s efforts to modernize public transport and provide more convenient, secure travel options.
GSRTC currently offers two primary digital tools: the ‘GSRTC Ticket Booking’ app for digital transactions and the ‘GSRTC Track Live’ app, which provides passengers with real-time information regarding bus locations and arrival timings.
