GT Bharathi to develop World Trade Center in Chengalpattu

Real estate developer GT Bharathi has secured a license from the World Trade Centers Association to develop a World Trade Center business in the Chengalpattu district of Tamil Nadu, India.

The project is envisioned as the centerpiece of an integrated, IT-centric mixed-use township covering approximately 150 acres. The development has a projected value of roughly Rs 7,000 crore and is expected to be implemented in phases over about a decade. The masterplan aims to include commercial and retail spaces, data centers, residential communities, and educational institutions.

By joining the global WTCA network, which includes over 300 businesses across nearly 100 countries, the development intends to connect regional enterprises to international trade services and global markets.
