GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup finale held in Barcelona

The GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup season concludes at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. In qualifying for Race 1, Bastian Buus, driving the number 80 Lionspeed GP Porsche 911 GT3 R, secured pole position with a time of 1:39.542.

French driver Gaspard Simon is also competing in the final round of his debut season. Driving an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO for Walkenhorst Motorsport, Simon has participated in both the Sprint and Endurance Cups. He noted that while the season provided significant experience in the GT3 category, race incidents often prevented his individual performances from resulting in top finishes.
