GTA 5 unofficial Android port in development
An unofficial Android port of Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) is currently under development by modder M0jso, who previously worked on bringing the title to the Nintendo Switch. The project aims to allow the game to run on mobile devices and tablets using the Google operating system.
Technical requirements for the port are expected to be high. Initial specifications suggest a minimum requirement of a Snapdragon 865 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 65 GB of available storage. While compatibility may expand to include Mali GPUs and certain Samsung Exynos chips with Xclipse 530 GPUs or higher, modern Google Pixel devices using Tensor processors are reportedly incompatible.
Because this is an unauthorized project, it will not include copyrighted files; players will need to provide their own game data. There is a high likelihood of legal intervention from Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive to prevent the distribution of the unofficial software.
