GTA 6 free Xbox pre‑order via Microsoft Rewards and PlayStation Store price display glitch

Reddit users have shown that by accumulating Microsoft Rewards points—about 100,000 points worth $100 of Xbox Store credit—it is possible to pre‑order Grand Theft Auto 6 on Xbox at no cost. The points are earned through daily Bing searches, Xbox app activities and other small tasks, and can be exchanged for store vouchers that cover the game’s launch price.

Separately, the PlayStation Store is currently showing a $100 price tag for GTA 6 and other titles such as EA Sports College Football 27 and EA Sports NFL 27. The display error stems from premium (Deluxe or Ultimate) editions being incorrectly listed as the standard edition, creating the impression of a price increase. Sony has not yet commented, and the issue appears to be a technical mis‑tagging rather than an actual change in pricing.

Both developments highlight how digital storefronts and loyalty programs can affect game pricing and consumer perception ahead of GTA 6’s release.
