GTA 6 pre‑sale spikes: French physical edition sells out, Brazil sees deep discounts

Rockstar Games' upcoming title GTA 6 entered pre‑sale with a launch set for 19 November. In Brazil, the standard digital edition is priced at R$ 449.90, while the Ultimate Edition costs R$ 549.90 and includes extra content and a month of free GTA+ access. The physical “code‑in‑box” version, which contains only a digital activation key, is also offered, with the standard box retailing for R$ 418.40.

In France, the initial stock of the physical edition on Amazon quickly sold out as retailers slashed the suggested retail price from € 79.99 to € 60.00, emphasizing the strong demand for a tangible collector’s item despite the lack of a disc. Meanwhile, Brazilian online retailers such as Shopee promoted steep discounts, reducing the physical PS5 edition to as low as R$ 367 using a promotional coupon.

These trends highlight the continued appetite for physical packaging in the gaming community and illustrate how the GTA 6 launch is driving significant consumer spending and price competition in both Brazil and France.
