GTA services under fire: Atlas Menu breach exposes 64k accounts, while Adin Ross pushes speculative GTA 6 RP server

The cheat service Atlas Menu, which offered unauthorized abilities for Grand Theft Auto V, suffered a major breach. Approximately 64,000 user accounts were compromised, with data that included email addresses, usernames, encrypted passwords, IP addresses and support tickets released on GitHub by an anonymous hacker who claimed revenge motives. Atlas Menu had previously touted "secure authentication and advanced encryption," but its owners have not commented on the incident.

Separately, streamer Adin Ross promoted a non‑official role‑play server for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6. Ross promised virtual jobs that could replace traditional employment, funding the project through an in‑game economy, cryptocurrency elements, sponsorships and viewer donations. The server is not backed by Rockstar Games, and its long‑term viability is questioned, especially after the collapse of similar crypto‑driven gaming projects such as Axie Infinity. GTA 6 is slated for a console launch on 19 November 2023, with a PC release projected for 2027.
