GTBank wins Nigeria's top digital and overall performance banking awards

Guaranty Trust Bank Ltd (GTBank) was honoured with two major banking accolades in 2026. On 17 July, the Euromoney Awards for Excellence in London named GTBank Nigeria’s Best Digital Bank, recognizing its continued investment in technology, secure customer‑centric services and digital innovation. The bank’s Managing Director Miriam Olusanya said the award reflects the Group’s legacy of making end‑to‑end financial services accessible through technology.

In the same year, The Banker magazine’s Top 1000 World Banks ranking placed GTBank as the Best Overall Performing Bank in Nigeria, ranking first for overall performance, efficiency and soundness, and second in metrics such as return on risk and profitability. Olusanya highlighted the achievement as a testament to the bank’s disciplined approach, synergy within the GTCO Group and commitment to delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
