GTGO and XYZ to develop 24-hour unmanned F&B stores
GTGO, a foodtech company formerly known as GoPizza, has been selected for the ‘Global TIPS’ program by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, securing approximately 5 billion KRW in business funds. In collaboration with robotics and AI firm XYZ, GTGO aims to develop fully automated, 24-hour unmanned food and beverage (F&B) stores.
The project integrates GTGO’s pizza cooking solutions with XYZ’s ‘BARIS’ unmanned coffee solution and ‘DEUX’ semi-humanoid robots. This combination is designed to automate the entire operational process, including cooking, packaging, transporting, and delivering products to customers.
GTGO plans to utilize its existing network in 11 countries to test and commercialize this model internationally, starting with Singapore and India. The goal is to transition from selling individual pieces of equipment to providing a comprehensive ‘full stack’ F&B solution that encompasses food production and automated retail management.
