Guabirá launches new liquor division to mark 70th anniversary

Guabirá, a Bolivian sugar and alcohol producer, is celebrating its 70th anniversary by launching a new liquor division. The announcement was made during Expocruz 2026 in Santa Cruz.

The new product portfolio includes Ron Zafra Dorada, which offers various aged versions including a 12-year Gran Reserva ‘Don Mariano’; Alturia Vodka, produced from sorghum grown in Santa Cruz; and Gin Guavira, which utilizes native botanicals from the eastern and Amazonian regions of Bolivia.

Additionally, the company is updating the branding for Ron Kayana Oro, a brand with over 35 years of market presence, introducing a new bottle design and a one-liter presentation. Mariano Aguilera, president of Ingenio Guabirá, stated that this expansion aims to foster national industry and develop Bolivian products for potential new markets.
