Guabiruba Mayor discharged after multi-vehicle accident

Valmir Zirke, the mayor of Guabiruba, has been discharged from the hospital following a multi-vehicle traffic accident on Sunday, October 18. The collision occurred on Rua Guabiruba Sul and involved three vehicles: a Toyota Hilux SW4, a Volkswagen Saveiro, and a Ford Ranger.

Zirke was found conscious and oriented in the passenger seat of the Hilux, reporting pain in his spine and left arm. While he was transported to Hospital Azambuja for evaluation, medical officials confirmed he sustained no fractures or serious injuries. He has since returned home, though he continues to experience pain from the impact.

The other vehicles involved in the pile-up included a 42-year-old driver and a 38-year-old driver traveling with a woman and two children. No other injuries were reported among the other participants.
