Guadalajara hosts 36th edition of Tenorio Mendocino

The city of Guadalajara has launched the Jornadas Mendocinas, a series of historical theatrical tours through key local monuments including the Plaza de Santa María, the Palacio del Infantado, and the Cripta del Fuerte de San Francisco. Organized by the Guadalajara City Council in collaboration with the Asociación Gentes de Guadalajara, these performances serve as a prelude to the 36th edition of the Tenorio Mendocino.

The main event, the Tenorio Mendocino, will take place on October 31 and November 1. This cultural tradition features performances based on the verses of Zorrilla, utilizing historical sites such as the gardens of the Palacio del Infantado and the palace's entrance hall as stages. The production is supported by a 50,000 euro municipal contribution and involves a collaborative cast of professional and amateur actors.
