Guadalajara PSOE criticizes Mayor Guarinos over infrastructure and gas station

The Socialist Municipal Group in Guadalajara, led by spokesperson Lucía de Luz, has issued several demands to Mayor Ana Guarinos regarding urban management and local controversies.

De Luz criticized the municipal government for failing to address dangerous sinkholes appearing in city streets. She noted that a recently presented 1.5 million euro asphalt plan allocates funds to only four specific streets while neglecting the repair of significant potholes that hinder mobility and circulation.

Additionally, the PSOE is calling for the suspension of activity licenses for a low-cost gas station located near residential buildings in the SUE-30 area, close to the Arabic Bridge. The group claims technical arguments regarding mobility and safety have been raised during the process. Lucía de Luz urged the Mayor to meet with affected residents, represented by the 'La Chopera' neighborhood association, to seek legal alternatives to prevent the station from operating in such close proximity to homes.
