Guadalajara public investment exceeds 430 million euros

The Spanish Government Subdelegation in Guadalajara has reported over 430 million euros in public resources mobilized during the first half of 2026. These investments focus on social welfare, communications, security, and economic development within the province.

Key highlights include 70.5 million euros allocated to citizen security and infrastructure. A major project involves the construction of a new 29,000-square-meter complex for the Special Operations Group (GEO) in Guadalajara, valued at 67.5 million euros. Additionally, the province has seen significant labor growth, with Social Security affiliations reaching 110,743 contributors and a 231% increase in permanent contracts compared to 2019.

In the municipality of Cabanillas del Campo, a separate 600,000-euro investment has been launched to renovate sidewalks across 51 streets. The project, awarded to Construcciones Crespomsa SLU, aims to improve accessibility and safety for elderly residents and families. The works are expected to be completed within six months.
