Guadalajara reports decrease in crime and leading regional safety levels

Guadalajara Mayor Ana Guarinos highlighted the achievements of the Local Police during a ceremony celebrating the feast of the Holy Guardian Angels. Guarinos noted that Guadalajara is currently the safest provincial capital in Castilla-La Mancha.

According to recent Ministry of the Interior data, the city has seen a 13.3 percent decrease in crime compared to the same period last year, making it the only provincial capital in the region to show a decline in conventional crime. The Mayor emphasized that the city has increased human and material resources for public safety, including the addition of new officers and the approval of various security plans.
