Guadalajara to host Circuito 3x3 CaixaBank basketball event

Guadalajara will host the eighth stop of the 2026 Circuito 3x3 CaixaBank on September 5. The event, described as Spain’s largest free outdoor urban basketball festival, will take place in the Plaza de España with the Palacio del Infantado as a backdrop.

Organizers, including the Guadalajara City Council, CaixaBank, and the Basketball Federation of Castilla-La Mancha, presented the event to promote accessible, outdoor sports. The tournament follows the ‘Play and Live Basketball’ concept, featuring hundreds of players across various categories, including a new Maxi 35 category for veterans and wheelchair basketball exhibitions.

The event serves as the kickoff for Guadalajara’s local fairs and festivals. It also includes a social component known as the ‘Triple Solidario’ and aims to engage the community through inclusive activities designed for all ages, starting from six years old.
