Gualeguaychú: Woman rescued unconscious from house fire

A 66-year-old woman was rescued unconscious from her home in Gualeguaychú, Argentina, following a house fire on Thursday morning. Emergency responders, including Volunteer Firefighters and police, had to force entry into the residence on Montevideo Street after the fire broke out around 9:30 AM.

Officers found the woman lying on the floor after losing consciousness. She was extracted from the building through a window and received cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) before being transported by ambulance to the Hospital Centenario de Gualeguaychú. While the front of the house showed partial damage, the most significant impact was reported inside the structure. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
